Getting Your Passport Quickly

Using an Aadhaar card, it is so much easier to get your passport. You can apply for a passport using your Aadhaar card and get it within 10 days. Police verification will take place afterward.

All you need is your Aadhaar card as an identity proof as well as an address proof while applying for a passport. This results in a hassle-free and quick passport approval process.

Instant Bank Account Opening

All banks accept Aadhaar card as a valid proof of your identity and your address. So you don’t have to worry about submitting multiple documents and waiting for the documents to be verified. All you need is your Aadhaar card which can help you in creating a bank account instantly.

Acceptance by SEBI

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), now accepts Aadhaar card as an address and identity proof. Thus, if you have any work with SEBI, you can simply use your Aadhaar card.

Mobile Number Verification

It is now mandatory to link your Aadhaar card to your mobile number. This helps in keeping track of the number of mobile connections used by one person. This will prevent the use of multiple phone numbers by one person for illegal uses. If you don’t link your mobile number with Aadhaar card, your mobile connection will be deactivated.

PAN Card and Income Tax Returns

The Income Tax Department has made it mandatory to link your Aadhaar card to the PAN card. You can verify your income tax returns using the Aadhaar card once it is linked. Academic Scholarship Registration

Students can now register for academic scholarships on the national scholarship portal by using their Aadhaar card.  Students who are having Aadhaar number are advised to register with Aadhaar number as preference will be given to Aadhaar seeded eligible students at the time of scholarship disbursement. This will enable in directly crediting scholarship amount to student Aadhaar linked bank account through Aadhaar Payment Bridge (ABP) in fast track mode.
